Hi! I'm Katie, and I am the salon owner and professional groomer behind Katie's Dog Spa where we aim to help make your dog not only look, but feel their best! 🐾

 

I have always wanted to pursue a career working in the dog industry, having previously worked and volunteered at rescue kennels and other grooming salons. This motivated me to completing a course in Dog Grooming where I now hold my Level 2 City and Guilds qualification. I have since then also completed an Ultrasonic Dental Cleaning course, where I am now certified for completing dental cleaning services at the salon. 

My hobbies include dog walking, baking, and spending quality time with friends and family. I have a cocker spaniel called Hugo who is my pride and joy and the best boy you could ask for. Not only is he the face and model of this business, but you may have seen him walking around Nantwich Town or Nantwich Lake. He loves a good fuss!

I also have guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and shrimps, where they are all spoilt and well cared for. They are all a huge part of my life and definitely keep me on my feet! 

Working alongside dogs is the best job I could ask for, as I fall in love with every one of them! It hardly feels like a job, but more a passion where I'm looking forward to each day as no dog is the same.
